How To Apply
The following information applies to applications for the BA (Hons) and DCE courses. If you wish to apply for the Foundation Degree, please contact us.
To apply please complete an application form by downloading one from the link below, applying online (Online Application Form) or completing an application form that you have recieved in a prospectus.
When sending us your completed application form, please make sure you include or attach a covering letter.
Each application is looked at individually and final selection is based on a combination of academic grades, childcare experience and performance at interview.
Please note that some prospectuses have incorrect information about applying for the BA (Hons) through UCAS.
As the BA (Hons) course is made up of a 2 year full time Diploma of Higher Education and 2 year's studying whilst in employment, students are not able to apply for this course through UCAS. Please apply directly to Norland College using the application form which you can download from this page.
| Application Process
Applications for both courses are now being accepted for entry in September 2011. Interviews days for 2011 applicants will be held on: Tuesday 28 September 2010 Tuesday 7 December 2010 Tuesday 15 February 2011 Offers will be made to successful applicants following an interview. A Pre-Enrolment Day will be held on a Saturday in April 2011 for all students who have accepted places for 2011. |
Places are offered to students subject to references, which are considered by the college to be satisfactory, satisfactory completion of a Health Questionnaire which is to be returned by the applicant to the college Medical Health Advisor and completion of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau. (Norland College is an organisation which is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires all students and staff to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau).
