Courses at Norland College
Norland College offers the following courses which lead to internationally recognised childcare qualifications:
BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies (Norland) (in association with The University of Gloucestershire)
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
Running alongside both these courses are Practical Placements and Practical Classes which form part of the prestigious Norland Diploma qualification. Students must also complete a certificate in paediatric first aid which is delivered for Norland College by ABC Medical Services.
Many Norland students are interested in developing their skills to assist them in caring for children with special needs. As a result of this interest, the college offers its current students a deaf awareness Level 1 course NCFE 'Communication in sign'. The course is held at the college on one evening each week.
BTEC 1st in Children's Care, Learning and Development. This programme, for 14 - 16 year olds, is offered in conjunction with local Bath schools.
